Today I’m sharing a super simple recipe that you can whip up in no time, whether you’re at home or out camping. It’s a delicious and easy way to elevate French Toast without taking a lot of extra time and effort.
Why “Stuff” French Toast?
Well, my answer would simply be, “why not?”.
It’s an easy way to make this classic brunch dish a little more fun and flavourful. And there’s lots of room to be creative! You can go savoury, like a Croque Monsieur with ham and cheese on the inside, or go sweet with cream cheese + berries, Nutella + banana, jam + cheese, or whatever your imagination desires!
Simply make a sandwich with your fillings, then dip in your regular French Toast egg + milk wash, and fry in a pan until golden! Super simple but oh so delicious!

Cream Cheese and Berries Stuffed French Toast
Ingredients
- 2-4 slices thick cut bread
- 2 Tbsp cream cheese
- fresh raspberries
- 1 egg
- 1-2 Tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- oil for frying
- icing sugar or maple syrup for topping
Instructions
- Spread cream cheese and fresh berries on one slice of bread then top with another slice to make a sandwich.
- Dip in the egg, milk, and cinnamon mixture and fry in an oiled pan on medium heat until golden brown on both sides. Top with a little icing sugar, maple syrup, and extra berries.
